About Flowers for the People

Located at 900 E Pine St, Seattle, WA 98122, Flowers for the People operates as a florist serving Seattle in Washington. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Florists in the United States range from neighborhood flower shops with a walk-in cooler to studio designers who work only by appointment for weddings and events. Most retail florists build arrangements to order, deliver the same day when you call before early afternoon, and belong to a wire network (FTD, Teleflora or BloomNet) that passes out-of-town orders to a local shop. Ordering from the shop directly rather than through a national website usually means more flowers for the money, because no order-gatherer takes a cut. Flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, often early in the morning, and many now open to the public. Flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies and sunflowers and sell by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 10 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Flowers for the People at (206) 765-0093; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 47 reviews, which is a strong result for a florist in Seattle and suggests consistent service.

Seattle is in Washington, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. Traffic in Seattle peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Visited May 27th to get some flowers for a friend’s birthday. Loved the customer service and personalized care. I appreciate the willingness to make conversation and aesthetic suggestions when crafting our personalized bouquet. It’s clear they care about your experience and the brightness that flowers can bring to your everyday lives. Great experience. Fast. Relatively cheap. Check it out!

Stopped in to get some flowers for my cousin’s surgery, and the person working was super helpful! I loved the build your own bouquet concept and I love how it came out! They also had a large selection of vases! For reference this is a small bouquet.

We used Flowers for the People for our wedding flowers and we were overjoyed with how beautiful the bouquets and table flowers turned out. Working with Mick was a pleasure and he really went above and beyond. It’s been over a week now and the flowers still look amazing. We will continue to go here for any future flower needs!

This was designed to be a floral buffet where you pick the layers of flowers that build a bouquet. The layers are listed at the bottom of the menu, it’s greens (green plants), main (big or attention-grabbing flowers), fillers (like babies breath and other small flowers and plants), and accents (from what I could tell, these were small or background-surface-like plants and flowers to make the colors pop more). The flowers are seasonal, they’ll tell you about them and recommend combos. It’s a cute idea, fun for a day out shopping with your friends. We came in because a couple ladies passed with their custom bouquets and we wanted to try the services too. They also have to-go bouquets if you need it premade, they sell cards, small trinkets, and have a houseplant corner too.

🌼 Great Experience at Flowers for the People 🌼 I recently visited Flowers for the People to build my own bouquet, and I had a really good experience. The shop has a nice selection of fresh flowers, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They guided me through the process of choosing different blooms and offered suggestions on what would work well together. I appreciated the variety available, which made it easy to create a bouquet that matched my style. Once I picked my flowers, the staff arranged them for me, and I was happy with how it turned out. What impressed me the most was how fresh the flowers were. I was told they last for about two weeks, and so far, mine are holding up well. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would recommend Flowers for the People if you're looking to create a custom bouquet.
